C-130 PLANE CRASH
Attu is still a very dangerous place to fly. Every
two weeks the Coast Guard sends a C-130 transport plane out
to the island to drop off supplies. 20
years ago one of them missed the runway
in the fog and hit the side of a mountain. Most of
it is still there.
